With the announcement of a second season of Kourtney & Khloé Take Miami came news that Kourtney's boyfriend and baby daddy, Scott Disick, would open a combination restaurant/lounge/club. Well, the club in question has actually been open for months -- it's Mia at Biscayne.

He's taken on a role in VIP/nightlife marketing where he'll collaborate with the in-house marking team, the club confirms. A couple of celeb gossip blogs ran with the story that he's the owner, but that's not true. It probably stems from the fact he recently tweeted, "Dj dl on tuesday night at my new club called mia in miami beach."

Problem is, Mia isn't even in Miami Beach. It's across the bridge in Miami.

Apparently, E! will overstate his role a little for the sake of entertainment. Though he will be there quite a bit. He'll host an event tonight with the aforementioned DJ DL at the club (20 Biscayne Blvd., Miami).

Let's hope the exposure on the highly rated not-quite-real reality-TV juggernaut will bring more attention to downtown Miami's club scene, which is always stuck in the shadows of South Beach.
