Iesha Crespo has most recently appeared in Drake's music videos and the HBO series with Mark Wahlberg, Ballers, but the 23-year-old got her start with Taz's Angels, a mysterious girl gang modeled after Charlie's Angels. Its leader, Michael "Taz" Williams, puts a group of five women up in a $4.5 million South Beach mansion near Alton Road, according to their videos, and instructs them to take endless photos of one another. For their efforts, the group has cultivated almost 500,000 followers on Instagram. A quick glance at their feed shows it's mostly twerk videos and images of blunt-smoking.
It's unclear how the Angels make money, apart from a weekly hosting gig at LIV nightclub, and their leader's background is mysterious. Michael "Taz" Williams' company, Gigolo Enterprises LLC, is registered to his parents' house in Lutz, Florida. It's obvious Taz considers himself a younger, more modern Hugh Hefner. He has trademarked the term "bad bitches link up," and he sporadically appears in photos with his chicks.
Crespo ran with the group from only 2011 to 2012, says her mom, Tara Crespo. (Iesha was not available for comment.) The model opposed Miami's sleaze, she says. Instead of smoking weed on Instagram for cash, she broke into a straight modeling career with big-name clients such as the mall mainstay Pacific Sunwear. Last year, she dated singer Trey Songz, the Grammy-nominated singer born Tremaine Aldon Neverson.
According to a lawsuit filed January 21, Iesha Crespo's iPhone was recently hacked. Earlier last month, the former Angel was startled to find she couldn't log in to her personal Instagram account. The account's name had been changed to "Exposing Iesha Marie" and her description to "Miami's Biggest Hoe." There were also comments that suggested she smoked crack. A shot of her nether region was posted for her 22,000 followers — including aunts and cousins — to see. Below the vulgar photo was the caption "Don't even think about it... This belongs to @TreySongz."
The lawsuit against "John Doe" alleges computer fraud, emotional distress, and invasion of privacy and asks for more than $1 million in damages. The goal is to subpoena Facebook, which owns Instagram, to catch the wrongdoer. The court record also claims the posts damaged Iesha's relationship with Songz, both personally and professionally. Songz could not be reached for comment.
Crespo's attorney, Darren Heitner, believes the attacker might be a rabid Trey Songz fan with a vendetta or an ex-boyfriend, who is named in the complaint as the person who gave Iesha the phone.
Tara Crespo says this ex "treated Iesha more like a prize than a person." He is said to be "really angry toward Trey [Songz]... And he always told Iesha: 'I have a friend who works for the Secret Service. I have private investigators.' "
