On June 6, 21-year-old Luis Fumero pulled over a woman with a fake police badge and tricked her into having sex with him in order to avoid arrest. Now, Fumero is the one facing very real criminal charges.

Police believe Fumero had stolen a Mercedes, and used the car as a fake squad car. Fumero was also armed with a gun at the time.

He pulled the woman over, and the woman began crying as she was driving with a suspended license, police said. Fumero put the woman in the back of his car, but suggested that she could avoid arrest if she agreed to have sex with him, so the two went to a hotel.

Yesterday, Fumero was arrested by legitimate police. Ironically, one of the charges is the one he threatened to arrest his victim for: driving with a suspended license.

Fumero also faces far more serious counts like falsely impersonating an officer, grand theft, and eluding arrest. His total bail has been set at $31,000.
