Two Miami Gardens men, Emerson Callum and Lavont Flanders Jr., have been arrested for drugging woman, engaging in forced sex acts with them, videotaping the acts, and then selling the videos. Both were similarly charged in 2007, but those claims were dropped just weeks ago.
The men were arrested in 2007 for luring more than 30 woman to a warehouse in Miramar and then drugging them before having sex with them. As part of their defense, the men claimed the woman knew they were showing up for film pornography and had signed releases. The men claimed that their business was legitimate pornography.
Those initial charges were, however, dropped by prosecutors on July 11.
Now it seems the FBI has gathered enough evidence to arrest the men once again on similar charges, according to WSVN. Few new details have been released, as the FBI is trying to build a case. Their 2007 arrest was carried out by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
Flanders, by the way, is a former Miami Beach Police officer.
Update: According to a new report, Callum and Flanders lured the woman to the warehouse using online ads looking for legitimate models and actresses. The men then allegedly spiked the girls drinks with Xanax. Callum would then rape the women while Flanders filmed the act. DVDs were then sold online and in local porn shops.
