We're far from the biggest sneaker heads out there, but we always thought the Dwyane Wade shoes for Converse were fugly. Maybe Wade agreed, because he hasn't been spotted much wearing the latest Wade 4 model, and is now set to switch his allegiance to Nike's Jumpman label, AKA Jordans.

Converse hasn't been known for its basketball shoes in years, and yes, its iconic Chuck Taylors are named after a basketball star, but you're more likely to find that particular model at a My Chemical Romance concert than at a Heat game. Wade apparently has been pushing for the switch for a while.

However, Converse is a subsidiary of Nike, so Wade is still keeping it in the family. His appearance in a pair of Converse at the Summer Groove will likely be his last in the brand.
