Funniest story of the day: Three guys who work for a subcontractor building an FBI headquarters in Miramar got nailed Wednesday for trying to steal from the feds.
Three men sold wire for which they had charged the agency. An undercover source told agents about the sale. Thy caught the trio with envelopes of cash.
According to the Miami Herald's Jay Weaver, the three appeared in federal court in Fort Lauderdale and released on $150,000 bond.
Charged were William E. Hamilton, Robert Gesek and Michael McGuire, who are employed by electrical subcontractor, M.C. Dean, based in Virginia.
The FBI is building a new headquarters in Miramar to replace its outdated North Miami Beach home.
