Here's Medina's confession from Facebook:

The photo of his wife shows her on her back with bent knees and her head slumped against kitchen cabinets. Her face and left arm are bloody. Medina posted the photo with the caption "RIP Jennifer Alfonso." Here's a screenshot of the comments.

Riptide has chosen not to run the full photo out of respect for the victim and her family. Amazingly, as of last check, the picture has still not been removed from Facebook. It's been up for four hours. Update: Facebook has removed Medina's entire page.

CBS Miami has confirmed with police that Medina is in fact the suspect.

The incident happened at 5555 SW 67th Ave. Medina showed up at a South Miami PD station earlier this morning to confess to the murder of the woman he had been married to since 2012. When police arrived at the scene, they found the woman dead.

A 10-year-old girl who was unharmed was also found inside the home.

Medina lists his occupation on his profile as "actor" on Burn Notice but appears to have appeared only as a featured extra in an episode of the USA show that was filmed in 2009. Alfonso listed her job as a server at Denny's.

Both had recently uploaded a photo of the two of them together with a young girl dining at a waterside restaurant. The photo appears to have been taken within the last 24 hours.

Here's the bizarre photo Medina has been using as his profile picture. Update: Apparently it's the cover to his latest e-book of self-advice. Turns out Medina had been a prolific writer of bizarre books over the past few months .

The night before the murder, Alfonso had updated her Facebook profile photo to a picture of the couple kissing.

South Miami PD has now turned the case over to Miami-Dade Police.
