Chris Bosh, on his continued quest to be the most interesting, lovable, and charming man on the face of this Earth, appeared on Univision Deportes yesterday to talk about the NBA playoffs and his return to the court. Talk being the operative word here — because he did all of his talking in Spanish.
We've seen Bosh show off his bilingual skills before, but it certainly appears as though Bosh spent a portion of his down time while recovering from blood clots this season perfecting his español. Bosh appeared on multiple Spanish-language TV channels Sunday, including ESPN Deportes, and seemed extremely comfortable speaking his second language.
Bosh spoke of his expected return to the basketball court next season after fully recovering from a scare with blood clots that had traveled to his lungs. He reiterated what he said earlier in the weekend on NBA TV and TNT: He can't wait to get back onto the hardwood, and he believes the silver lining is that the ordeal has renewed his love and passion for the game.¡@chrisbosh está en #UDZonaNBA! Most Heat fans have been aware of Bosh's interest in learning Spanish since the Miami Heat Big Three signing celebration, when he teased us with a glimpse of his skills, some viewers were shocked when they turned on Univision and saw him speaking fluently in their native tongue. If you had no idea he had such capabilities, you can imagine the surprise, but this is a real thing that is happening. No, Miami, that isn't some kung-fu-movie-like voice-over — that's really Chris Bosh speaking Spanish on your TV set.
Yo am I really watching @chrisbosh speak Spanish right now? I had no idea he could lol
