WFOR is apparently shaking up its news anchor lineup once again. Former Fox News anchor Rick Folbaum starts next month, and according to Gossip Extra, he'll take over Eliott Rodriguez's main anchor role.

Folbaum, who has no previous ties to South Florida, floated around Fox News since the late '90s. He hosts a 6 p.m. Saturday newscast and regularly fills in for daytime anchors. Media Bistro points out his wife blogged about the move last month on her mommy blog.

Sources tell Gossip Extra that current head anchor Eliott Rodriguez will be "demoted" to make room for Folbaum, though nothing is set in stone.

Rodriguez has been in the South Florida news game for decades. This isn't even the first time CBS4 has tried to replace him as main anchor. He stepped aside for a few years for Antonio Mora. That decision didn't work out too well.

Meanwhile, the station is still without a permanent main female anchor after Shannon Hori was let go earlier this year.
