Ana Alliegro, the self-described "Conservative Bad Girl" and a central figure in the latest round of scandal to hit Republican Congressmen David Rivera, has gone missing. Her mother told El Nuevo Herald that she has not heard from her since Wednesday night. Her lawyer also tells the paper that he has not had recent contact with Alliegro either.

Alliegro has been active in local Republican and municipal politics for years, but came to prominence after Justin Lamar Sternad told The Miami Herald that she was his campaign manager. Sternad, a political unknown who works at a hotel, ran in the District 26th Democrat primary to take on Rivera in November. However, he mostly attacked fellow Democrat Joe Garcia, who went on to win the primary. Allegations have surfaced that Rivera may have helped funnel money and other services to Sternad's campaign. Rivera has previously described Alliegro as a friend, and several pictures of the two together were posted on Alliegro's Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Alliegro is also alleged to have delivered $7,000 in cash to pay for flyers for Sternad's campaign that took direct aim at Garcia.

The allegations are now being investigated by the FBI. Alliegro was scheduled to speak to investigators yesterday, but her lawyer, Mauricio Padilla, worked at a deal to save her from the appearance.

Alliegro's family last heard from her on Wednesday night. Her mother tells El Nuevo she was going to drive with her father to meet investigators but never showed up the family's home. However, they have not yet filed a missing persons report.

Alliegro's Twitter was last updated on Monday with this strange message:

She had last updated her Twitter account on Saturday to inform her followers that she loved the Beyonce song "Listen."
