Amazon's Prime Now one-hour delivery service has been operating in Miami since earlier this year. Maybe you've seen the white vans driving around, sometimes with "Amazon" printed prominently on the side. There haven't been any major hitches, but this is Miami, and someone figured out you could probably just easily rob one of those things. So someone did.

The incident happened earlier this morning at NW 156th Street and 15th Avenue in Miami Gardens near one of Amazon's warehouses. The driver of the Amazon delivery van spotted a Jeep that had been stopped in the middle of the street with the hood up. A man near the car waved the driver down to ask for help.

While he was talking to the driver of the purportedly broken car, another man jumped out from behind the car with a gun pointed at the Amazon delivery driver. The armed suspect got in the Amazon van and drove away.

At the same time, the driver of the Jeep, the one that had its hood up, got into the truck and drove away as well, leaving the Amazon delivery driver stranded.

The van was recovered later in North Miami, but all of the packages inside had been taken. All in all, about 100 items were stolen.

According to CBS Miami, police are on the lookout for two African-American men in their 40s or 50s. One suspect is described as being five-foot-five to five-foot-seven with a medium build and facial hair. He was last seen wearing an orange vest.
