According to CBS Miami, Perez drove up to the entrance of Torres' apartment complex at the 1300 block of West 46th Street around 1:30 p.m.

Perez spotted Torres, and got out of his car. The two began arguing about money, and Perez pulled out his gun as the argument escalated and just clear popped Torres.

Perez then took off in his car and his left his former employee dying on the sidewalk.

Police were unable to find Perez during a massive manhunt after the murder, but the suspect turned himself in to police today.
