Apparently, there were so many cats killed during last Spring's feline murder spree that rocked Cutler Bay and Palmetto Bay that prosecutors forgot to charge the suspect, 19-year-old Tyler Weinman, with all of them.

In a status hearing yesterday, prosecutors announced that they had left out two cat killings in their charges. Weinman now faces 21 counts each of  felony animal cruelty and improperly disposing of an animal body, in addition to another four counts of burglary.

Though prosecutors thus far have no DNA evidence, and told the court yesterday that additional testing results won't be ready until at least May 5th.

Weinman has been under house arrest following his arrest last June. His lawyers had asked the judge if he could attend classes at Miami-Dade College, and yesterday the judge ruled he'd be able to leave his house to take placement tests.
