While Chris Bosh was partying up last night with camels and elephant cakes to celebrate his 29th birthday, thieves were helping themselves to some ill-gotten gifts of their own at his Miami Beach house.
Bosh returned home last night to find that watches, jewelry, and purses with a combined worth of $340,000 had been stolen.
Bosh and his wife Adrienne had left their two kids at the North Bay Road home with two housekeepers and returned around 12:30 a.m. to discover that their closets had been ransacked.
According to NBC Miami, the crooks were selective and took big-ticket items. Thankfully, they didn't touch Bosh's 2012 NBA Championship ring.
No one at home at the time heard anything, but police believe it might have been an inside job. The housekeepers are being interviewed but haven't been implicated. Police are also checking if any contractors had recent access to the home.
