Hey, beat freaks!
It's August, and you know what that means ... Time to start plotting your annual Winter Music Conference plan of attack!
There are only 217 days left until the 2014 Conference kicks off. And no, that's not a lot of time. Believe us, you're going to blink and suddenly be in a bikini poolside, wondering how to find the free drinks.
The 29th annual WMC season kicks off Thursday, March 21, and runs through Saturday, March 30. That's ten days jam-packed full of parties, workshops, panels, and everything you need to get a running start on the future of dance music.

Of course, everyone is always looking forward to the parties. But lest we forget, the Conference side of festivities isn't something to scoff at. It's a great opportunity for those serious about the business to get the scoop on what's coming up in the scene, who's making moves and how you can get in on the action.
"Our program is all about building new inroads for the advancement of electronic music," said WMC's director of operations and development Kirk Paskal in a press release. "Featured presentations like last year's Q&A with IDMA Lifetime Achievement recipient Nile Rodgers (in advance of the release of his epic new collaborations with Daft Punk and Avicii) along with young trailblazers like R3hab among many others are always an inspiring affirmation for what we do. We continually aim to raise the bar in service to the artists, industry and music enthusiasts that make electronic music one of the world's most dynamic cultural communities."
