The annual Radio One pool party is almost eerily absent this year, but don't worry about getting wrapped up in brand names. All of the superstar DJ talent will be here anyways, and still helmed by the legendary Pete Tong -- they'll just be playing under the banner of "Pete's Pool Party." It's just one of two dates during Winter Music Conference for Tong himself (the other is the 10 Years of Space party on March 27), coming between a set of dates throughout Europe.

Along for the ride, the BBC Essential Selection host has invited some of his most famous friends: Steve Lawler, Kaskade, James Zabiela,aMark Knight, Joris Voorn, and Chuckie. But it's Tong's job to break new artists to the clubbing mainstream, so he's also invited along some slightly more left-field buddies: Tiefschwarz, Afrojack, Nervo, Heidi, and Aeroplane vs. Disco 3000 (Erol Alkan). Expect slippery fun with big beats and bigger pneumatic breasts at this poolside party from the Club Space crew.

Pete's Pool Party, with Pete Tong, Steve Lawler, Kaskade, James Zabiela, and others. Party runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, March 26. The Surfcomber, 1717 Collins Ave., Miami Beach. Tickets cost $70 in advance from wantickets.com; age 21 and up; surfcomberpoolparties.com
