The former? Straight chillin' in the '80s, teasing her hair and shrieking like a useless wench whenever murderous robots from the future popped out from around the corner. The latter? A total badass -- Straight hair, buff arms, no bullshit.

The essential difference was preparation: The first time around, baby girl didn't even realize she was the mother of the future leader of the human resistance. But take two? Bitch was ready to lock'n'load all the way to judgement day.

It is with this duality in mind that we suggest DJ Tommy Trash performs music a la Sarah Connor getting ready to halt a human holocaust at the (metallic) hands of cyborgs.

Since mid 2011, Trash has been gigging off his highly-acclaimed The End EP, which features the breakout single that's caught a few spins from the likes of David Guetta, Afrojack and Tiesto, and catapulted Tommy toward the champagne-soaked lights of South Beach Americlubana.

The DJ/producer has claimed that the inspiration behind his music is his attempt to "rescue the world from the dance music apocalypse." And we can see how. "The End" has got such steady beats, such well-placed hand-claps and such a slithering, snake-charmer's melody for a hook, that we can't imagine a better soundtrack for boogie-ing one's way out of obliteration.

So remember: While the big beats and irresistible acid-synth lines may seem to be pure party, Tommy Trash is really all about preventing the total annihilation of the human race by cyborg and/or e-music.
