Well, tattoos are about as rock n' roll as guitars. Which is why it only makes sense for this weekend's TattooLaPalooza to boast a bitchin' afterparty at Transit Lounge.

Anyway, we thought it'd be fun to share a list of musicians donning body art. There's no rhyme or reason, and no ordering of any kind. Just ten rock star tattoos that don't suck.

Travis Barker of Blink 182

We're going to assume the end of that sentence reads "more ink please?" and ends somewhere just north of his ass crack.

Brandon Boyd of Incubus

Aside from a kick ass singer, did you know Brandon's also an artist? He's designed Incubus' cover art.

Rihanna
Twinkle, twinkle. Yeah, we know she's no rock n' roller. But you're going to begrudge us a little Rihanna flaunting skin? Didn't think so.

Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers

Hard to get more rockin' than Chili Peppers bassist Flea's Jimi Hendrix tattoo. But the train of colorful elephants just below it does kick ass a bit of ass too.

Anthony Kiedis of Red Hot Chili Peppers

Chili Pepper frontman Anthony Kiedis has been known to rock a little body art of his own. Check out the Haida Thunderbird on his back.

Katy Perry

Again, Katy may not rock. But her husband, Russel Brand, does. He had that hit song "Inside of You." Or, to be honest, she's just hot enough that wanted to include her. Anyway, the couple shares a Sanskrit "Go With the Flow" tat.

Brad Nowell of Sublime
The late, great singer from Sublime may be long gone thanks to a heroine overdose, but his back ink lives on on the cover of the band's ground breaking self-titled album.

Lady Gaga
Gaga makes ink look good.

Lil' Wayne
Whether or not it looks good isn't the question. You have to admire Weezy's commitment.

Travie McCoy
Hall & Oats on your hands? Yes, Travie. That does rock.

The Official TattooLaPalooza Afterparty with Green Sunshine. Saturday, June 25. Transit Lounge, 729 SW First Ave., Miami. The party starts at 10 p.m. and there's no cover. Ages 21 and up. Call 305-377-4628 or visit transitlounge.us.
