Hiatus Kaiyote "is the sound of serendipity." Maybe that's because the Aussie band claims to have been brought together by fate "through a series of coincidences." Destiny may have united them, but their combined talent is what's leading them to success.

Heavy metal is definitely not the first musical genre that comes to mind when talking about the Communist country 90 miles south of us. Unless we're talkin' Hipnosis.
