Dick Clark, dead at 82. The thought of it makes us sick to our stomach. Is a world without "the oldest teenager" even a world worth enduring?

While all hope may seem lost, we're here to remind you that there're still plenty of awesome reasons -- at least ten of them -- to live through the weekend. And if not for us, do it for Dick. It's what he would've wanted.

Smut Peddlers, Unit Six, and others. Friday, April 20, 8 p.m., Churchill's Pub, 5501 NE 2nd Ave, Miami. $10. "This is [a] 420 friendly show," according to the event site. 'Nuff said.





Big Night in Little Haiti. With Tabou Combo. Friday, April 20, 6 p.m., Little Haiti Cultural Center. Free. They don't get much bigger than this, folks. Tabou Combo is one of the biggest acts in Haitian music.



PeachFuzz. Friday, April 20, 11 p.m., The Garret at Grand Central, 697 N. Miami Ave., Miami. Free. Get your '90s fix at The Garret with complimentary Grolsh till midnight and the best music videos from '90s all night.



Stonerz. Friday, April 20, 8 p.m., The Stage, 170 NE 38th St, Miami. $10. Twist up a fatty and check out some of the best reggae in Miami at this "official" 420 bash complete with live music, a Q&A session with marijuana activist, and vegan munchies.



Sixth Annual 420 Fest. Friday, April 20, 6 p.m., Tobacco Road, 626 S. Miami Ave, Miami. $5 after 9 p.m. Celebrating pot culture at Miami's oldest bar is only one of several ways you can spend your 4/20. Check out some of the stoner-friendly options here.
