Models and bottles, y'all!

If there is any week out of the year when that statement rings truer, it's the awkwardly named Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, AKA Swim Week.

While most of the official and satellite events are happening around the Raleigh, Soho Beach House, and the Miami Beach Convention Center, everyone knows Miami excels at the afterparty. And there's definitely no shortage this weekend. Some will be easier to get into than others, but trying to cross the velvet ropes is half the fun.

Check out Crossfade's eight best Swim Week parties.

8. Côte D'Or Runway Show at SET

Want to check out a proper runway show while dancing the night away? Well SET kicks off its Swim Week festivities with a locally based brand Côte D'Or. Of course, there will be music too, provide by resident DJ Julian Ingrosso. RSVP to [email protected] for table reservations.

7. Wilhelmina Swim Week Party at Story

The Wilhelmina modeling agency will take over Story on Thursday, July 18, to kick of Swim Week. As if that weren't good news enough, the nightclub will also be hosting Ciara's album release party (it's Pitchfork rated 7.3!). Unclear the former princess of Crunk&B (Lil Jon's words, not mine) will be there, but who cares! Models! For table reservations call 305-474-4426.

6. Lazy Sunday BBQ Swim Week Edition at the Standard

If you haven't stopped by the Standard's weekly Lazy Sunday BBQ, you are missing out the best reason to drink and relax under the Miami sun. For its Swim Week party on Sunday, July 21, the spa hotel is inviting DJs Amtrac and Max Silva to get behind the decks while you chomp down on grilled meats. RSVP at [email protected].

5. Lee + Lani Swim Week Finale at Wall

For the hardcore bikini fanatics that last through the entire course of Swim Week, which officially ends Tuesday, July 23 (that's the last day of the Swim Show at the Miami Beach Convention Center), Lee + Lani swimwear will be hosting a finale party at Wall's Favela Beach party. DJs Ruen, Iron Lyon and Reid Waters will provide the tuneage while models who finally can drink until bloated will probably be blowing off some steam. For table reservations email [email protected] or call 305-938-3130.

4. Shay Todd After Party at LIV

After Shay Todd premieres its new line, the party moves to LIV on Saturday, July 20, for an after party under the nightclub's domed roof. Project 46 is on the bill meaning the Canadian duo will provide its signature progressive house sound. Anyone can attend, but unless you're buy (very expensive!) bottle service you'll have to purchase admission through wantickets.com. General admission is $60 for the ladies and $90 for men.

3. Swim X Galore Mag After Party at Rec Room

Galore describes itself as a "media company celebrating beauty, femininity, and sex appeal with a downtown sensibility." All we know is Saturday, July 20, the magazine is celebrating Swim Week at Rec Room at the Gale. The event features Prince & Jacob plus a special surprise guest (wonder who it could be!). Event is free to RSVP at ugstrategies.com/swim but Rec Room can be somewhat difficult to get into if you don't fit the part, so dress-to-impress but don't try too hard.

2. Skinny Kings Presents 'Don't Worry Baby' Music X Fashion at Freehand Miami

Looking a Swim Week party with a local twist? Sunday, July 21, Skinny Kings is taking over Miami Beach's hippest hostel, Freehand Miami, for a party-meets-pop-up shop with a 305 flavor. New Times loves anything with a Magic City tie-in and 'Don't Worry Baby', hosted by Capture Fashion blogger Amanda Del Duca, honors the Beach Boys with UK producer Star Slinger on the decks and Miami's own Dude Skywalker and Gooddroid as supporting acts. Locally owned online retailer iShine365 will be there as well for your shopping pleasure, while models will roam around the Freehand in Miami brands Algae and H.O.W.L. Jewelry. And not to beat, the Broken Shaker will be open all day as well, with complimentary drinks being served from 2 to 4 p.m. Best of all it's F-R-E-E, no RSVP required.

1. Wildfox After Party at SET

Wildfox's runway show Sunday, July 21, at Soho Beach House is easily one of the most anticipated shows during Swim Week. And don't even think you'll be able to attend if you aren't on the guest list, but a good compromise might be the after party at SET. The American fashion label will be taking over Evolution Sundays to close out the weekend until the early morning. RSVP to [email protected] for table reservations.
