Update: An arrest has been made: Cameo bouncer Cody Quaife, AKA Q.
Nearly two weeks.
But there's been no progress in the investigation of the South Beach beating on New Year's Eve that left Mohamed Youness Adlan, a 22-year-old tourist, in a coma.
"Unfortunately, he is still in a coma with little improvement," says Miami Beach Police Department spokesperson Detective Vivian Thayer.
She adds: Investigators are "still working to gain any leads on a subject."

In the early morning at approximately 5 a.m. on January 1, Adlan was found unconscious on the sidewalk outside Cameo nightclub by his roommate Amane Maghous, 23.
The pair, a couple of Moroccan students living in Rhode Island, were visiting Miami on vacation. And that night, they had been partying at the club, where Cash Money co-founder and rapper Birdman was throwing a New Year's Eve party. But "at some point, they separated," Maghous told police.
Minutes later, he discovered his severely injured friend on the street. An ambulance was called. The victim was taken to Ryder Trauma Center. And he underwent surgery. But he hasn't woken up.
Both police and doctors have determined that Adlan was punched in the face and fell, smashing his head on the concrete, which caused a skull fracture and brain bleeds.
However, the person who attacked him remains entirely unknown. As the MBPD's Detective Thayer confirms: "There are no major leads."
Meanwhile, just days after the incident, the victim's mother and father, Fatima and Najem Adlan, flew from Morocco to attend to their son and await his recovery. But hospital staff says the victim's prognosis remains uncertain.
The family's attorney, Jeffrey Altman, has noted the beating may have happened beneath a surveillance camera on Española Way.
But Detective Thayer tells New Times: "There is video footage, but we have nothing of substance to release to the media. That I am aware of, the incident was not captured on video."
