Get over to NPR for an exclusive stream of Brooklyn electro-rock duo Sleigh Bells' debut album, Treats, like now now. As Sound of the City's Zach Baron points out, an anticipated album that should be in the dictionary under "Leak" somehow managed to stay away from complete public consumption and dissemination until its release on iTunes today.

Don't forget that 50 percent of Sleigh Bells has South Florida roots -- Derek Miller used to play guitar in local hardcore outfit Poison the Well. Paired with vocalist Alexis Krauss, this album bangs (and rings) as fiercely as anything M.I.A. put out under her own name -- Treats is released via her N.E.E.T. Recordings. Our early fave is "Rill Rill," which has more of a gooey center than some of the other harder-hitting tracks.
