Maybe all those never-ending rainstorms that soaked South Beach through most of July have finally freaking disappeared. Or, maybe not, and August will be just as flooded by the Sunshine State's infamous summer showers.
But one thing's certain: Whatever the weather, it's always cool and sweaty inside SoBe's clubs. At some of the city's hottest party spots, the world's biggest DJs spend the wet months dropping epic summer-y sets, proving that a little rain can't stop the music.

Guy J and Matthew Dekay. Presented by Kontrol. Thursday, July 26, 11 p.m., Mansion, 1235 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 305-695-8411; mansionmiami.com. Tickets cost $15 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. You don't hear much about the Israeli EDM scene. But over the past decade, Guy J has been one of the top electronic music ambassadors from the Holy Land. In Tel Aviv, he's considered a top selector. And internationally, his star is rising. Similarly, Matthew Dekay's brand continues to climb. Like Guy J, this German DJ has been in the game for about a decade, dabbling in just about every EDM subgenre imaginable.
Sander Kleinenberg. Thursday, July 26, 11 p.m., LIV, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-674-4680; livnightclub.com. Tickets cost $40 to $50 via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Sander Kleinenberg is a DJ's DJ. Less concerned with stage antics or gimmicks, he relies on the music itself. Kleinenberg is a student of clubland, studying each crowd 'round the globe and catering to its specifics needs. He's as comfortable dropping a set in Buenos Aires as he is playing New York, Belfast, Paris, or South Beach.
dBerrie. Saturday, July 28, 11 p.m., Wall Lounge, 2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-938-3131; wallmiami.com. Tickets cost $60 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. While many DJs have made the transition from hip-hop to house, few have done it as effortlessly as dBerrie. His background as a "DJ to the stars" helped build his name, but he's become renowned for his command of the turntables. Drawing on skills from his days as a hip-hop DJ, dBerrie's brand of progressive house is uniquely dope.
Sultan and Ned Shepard. Saturday, July 28, 11 p.m., LIV, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-674-4680; livnightclub.com. Tickets cost $75 to $125 via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. After living in Kuwait, Cyprus, and Egypt, Sultan moved to Montreal and started DJing. He landed a weekly, overnight gig on one of the city's most popular radio stations in 2000. And soon, he built a reputation 'round Montreal as one of the best DJs in the city. About seven years later, he teamed up with good friend and fellow producer Ned Shepard. And that's how the party started.
Miss Nine. Sunday, July 29, 11 p.m., SET, 320 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach; 305-531-2800; setmiami.com. Tickets cost $30 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. If Miss Nine hadn't set her sights on a career in modeling, the German-born, Holland-based DJ may have never touched the decks. After signing with Elite Model Management, Miss Nine moved to Amsterdam and fell in love with the electronic dance music scene. Shortly after learning how to mix, she found herself headlining Amsterdam's legendary Motion parties. And the rest, of course, is history, with Miss Nine launching her own record label and landing sponsorships with Pioneer and Levis.
Diego Camejo. Wednesday, August 1, 11 p.m., Mansion, 1235 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 305-695-8411; mansionmiami.com. Tickets cost $30 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. By day, he's a student at Boston University. By night, however, he's a DJ. And no, he's not patching a few iPods into a mixer at a frat house. He's touring the globe and playing tracks at some of the hottest clubs on the planet.
