Not long after becoming the target of a foiled drive-by murder plot, Rick Ross issued a musical warning seemingly directed at his would-be assassins: "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe."

"Wishing death on you niggas, we never see eye to eye," Ross roars on the track. "Somehow I pray for you niggas at the very same time."

But Ross is also cautious.

The Maybach Music Group commander-in-chief has upped his personal security detail, reports TMZ, ensuring that "these niggas won't hold [Ross] back" from greatness. And neither will anyone else who tries to fuck with GQ's "Bawse of the Year."

UPDATE Today, the City of Fort Lauderdale Police Department released 911 calls from the Rick Ross shooting.

Following Monday morning's bizarre shooting, Rozay hired an armed 24-hour personal security team to watch his back. According to TMZ, the rapper already employed armed bodyguards for live performances and public appearances.

In December, Ross was forced to cancel 16 shows.

Originally, it was believed that the cancellation of the tour was in response to the North Carolina chapter of Chicago's Gangster Disciples gang, who threatened Ross in a YouTube video.

"We know where you gonna be at," a Disciple said. "So there ain't no way you can duck us ... We know you're gonna be in Greensboro. We know you gonna be in Charlotte. We gonna be there too."

However, Ross dismissed the notion and blamed the cancellation on a shoddy tour promoter instead.

"I canceled the rest of the tour due to the promoter wasn't really handling his business," Ross told 99 Jamz.

"I'm a certified man," he added. "I am a real boss. And this is something that everybody needs to understand: Gangstas move in silence."
