Mr. 305, Pitbull, had an interesting week. He had a big concert lined up in New York with Drake and Trey Songz to promote the new "So Kodak" campaign. And he also had a video shoot scheduled with T-Pain for Pit's song "Hey Baby." But all of that suddenly came crashing down on Monday when Pitbull fractured his hand at his Miami home. By doctor's orders, he's now on medical rest and standby for the next week as he heals. The video shoot has been postponed for sometime later in October and the New York Kodak concert had to go on without him this past Tuesday. [MTV News]

With basketball season pretty much in full effect, everyone, local rapper Ghostwridah included, is excited about the (hopefully) unstoppable Miami Heat roster. This week, Ghost released a new song titled "Final Thought." The track was supposed to be featured on the soundtrack for NBA 2K11, but missed the deadline.

In regards to the song, Ghostwridah had this to say: "Being from Miami, I felt it was only right after Miami's win over the Pistons [earlier this week], I had to release this unofficial, yet so official, Miami Heat anthem called 'Final Thought.'" Take a listen to the track right here. [OnSmash]

Flo-Rida will be having his star-studded birthday party at the ultra-exclusive LIV later tonight. The party will be done in grand fashion and whispers are going on around town that it will definitely be a celeb-stacked affair. But however it turns out, just the fact that its LIV on Columbus Day weekend guarantees good times. Click here to see the flyer. [The305]

Rumor Alert! Rapper Brisco may be on the fritz with record label Poe Boy as he recently took to Twitter to vent his frustration with the label by basically telling them to shove it. It's very unfortunate as Brisco and Poe Boy have had a long relationship together, but hopefully they work out their differences. Click here to read the tweet. [iBlog126]

Not necessarily Miami related, but Big Boi of Outkast will be performing once again in Miami this Sunday as part of the Trinumeral Festival at Grand Central with a nice shortlist of local opening acts including Mayday! and ArtOfficial. Click here for more info. [I Heart Miami]
