From Kodiak to the Caribbean, corporate sponsorships are taking Pitbull around the world.
Just last month, Mr. Worldwide touched down in Alaska, posed with a stuffed bear, and attended an Alutiiq ceremony as a cross-promotional brand ambassador for Walmart and Sheets Energy Strips. He performed at a Coast Guard base in Kodiak and he was presented with a ceremonial "key to the city."
Now he's packing for the Caribbean. Because Anheuser-Busch announced today that Pitbull will be joining Brad Paisley, Flo Rida, All American Rejects, and others for the Bud Light Port Paradise Music Festival and Cruise in November.
The two-day concert is a private event for 5,000 promotional winners who'll be transported to the Bahamas aboard two cruise ships. And according to the Bud Light vice president, it's going to be "a party like no other."
Pitbull's scheduled to headline the first concert at the Atlantis resort in Nassau alongside Far East Movement and Flo Rida. The latter was supposed to join Pit on the Club 305 Cruise earlier this year, but organizers dry-docked the "magical voyage" with little explanation.
Sunday's Port Paradise show in Coco Cay, a private Bahamian island owned by Royal Caribbean Cruises, will feature performances by the All-American Rejects, Young the Giant, and headliner Brad Paisley.
Other details are scarce. But we here at Crossfade have done some digging and we can assure you that at least one of the ships will depart from South Florida for this three-night, four-day cruise.
Daleee! Or to translate: Here we go.
