Just when you thought it was safe to go back to business as usual here at Moving Units, an awesome-looking Record Store Day release extends this column's fetish for "eBay Eve" for another week. We are particularly excited when local artists crack the week's top 5, so here's to Miami's gothic country trio Axe and the Oak!

More details of this past week in music retail, and Mike Ramirez has a few choice words for Courtney Love after the jump.

Radio-Active's Top 5 Releases for April 20-26:

1. Nirvana - Nevermind deluxe reissue LP (Original Recordings

Group) "It's about time they released Nevermind on colored vinyl,

but where are the bonus tracks & outtakes? Where's Inscesticide?

Thanks Courtney!"

2. MGMT - Congratulations (Columbia)

3. Roky Erickson With Okkervil River - True Love Cast Out All Evil

(Anti-)

4. Axe and the Oak - Record Store Day 2010 Limited Release

(self-released) Editor's note: Local artist Jessy Nite designed the cover art for this album and hand-embossed each of the limited run of 50. Jessy says: "It was soooo much fun to make and, though each has its own small

imperfections, they came out pretty dope. And I have to say that doing

something handmade really fits this band... they are perfectionists in

both the studio and onstage. The minimal look also fits them because,

well, thats just their steez... I can't really explain it." See some more photos of her handiwork here.

5. Bonobo - Eyesdown 12-inch (Ninja Tune)

What albums will we be talking about next week?
"Holy 90's! Courtney Love's got an album out this week, Hole's Nobody's Daughter (Mercury) along with the Deftones' Diamond Eyes (Reprise), out May 4. Also that day, look out for new releases from gypsy punks Gogol Bordello, Trans-Continental Hustle (Columbia), veteran

Peter Frampton, Thank You Mr. Churchill (New Door) and Broken Social Scene's Forgiveness Rock Record (Arts & Crafts).

"You'll be hearing buzz about the new CocoRosie's Grey Oceans (Sub Pop), Male Bonding's Nothing Hurts (Sub Pop), and Sleigh

Bells' Treats (NEET/Mom + Pop) LPs! Coming May 11!"
