Although it's only been a year since the Ball & Chain resurrected from its ashes, the Little Havana party hall — which first opened in 1935 — is celebrating its first and 80th anniversary this weekend. "We believe that we're kind of breeding a live music scene and that's one thing that, at least in our generation, we feel Miami has [lacked]," co-owner Bill Fuller told New Times of the club earlier this week. "But when we look back at the history of Ball & Chain, we see it was an integral part of the community back then, and that's kind of part of what we're trying to restore here." And with three days of non-stop tuneage from some of the 305's best performers, Fuller and the B&C crew are definitely playing their role in doing so.

Churchill's Pub 36 Year Anniversary. With Everymen, Grey 8s, the Gazms, Shark Valley Sisters, Rat Bastard & Kenny Millions, Seafoam Walls, and others. Friday to Sunday, September 4 to 6. Churchill's Pub, 5501 NE 2nd Ave., Miami; 305-757-1807; churchillspub.com. Admission is free.

"There's no other place like Churchill's, dude," booking manager and Idle Hands Productions boss lady Nayra Serrano told New Times last year, days before the Little Haiti rock gem celebrated its 35th anniversary. "We don't ostracize genres. Come and play. That's how it's always been. It's an open door policy and we wanna keep it that way." And for this year's birthday bash, Serrano and all the music junkies at Churchill's will embrace the pub's anything goes 'tude with 72 hours of noise, rock, and all things weird. Here's to many more!

Bubbles & BBQ. With Psychic Mirrors. Friday, September 4, 6 to 11 p.m. The Gale South Beach Rooftop, 1690 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-673-0199; galehotel.com. Tickets cost $10 plus fees via eventbrite.com. Ages 21 and up.

There's nothing like bubbles (preferably floating in a glass of champagne) and BBQ to help you kick off Labor Day weekend. Throw in the "Miami boogie funk" beats of the Psychic Mirrors and a killer view of the sunset right above the Gale rooftop, and you'll be in for one lovely "Midnight Special."

X3SR. With Nightvision. Friday, September 4, 8 p.m. The Social Lubricant Lounge, 167 NW 23rd St., Miami; 786-409-2241; tsllounge.com. Admission is free. Ages 21 and up.

Travel through the "Infinite" realms of Wynwood and discover the "indie, electronic, ambient" sounds of X3SR at TSL. With chillwave vibes and a full live band that transport you to simpler times, you'll definitely be feeling that Melancholia.

Sneak Peak of the Patio at Heart. With Hector, Pete Rorris, and others. Presented by Humans Alike. Friday, September 4, 11 p.m. Heart Nightclub, 50 NE 11th St., Miami; heartnightclub.com. Admission is free before 12:30 a.m. with RSVP via eventbrite.com. Ages 21 and up.

Amid all the impending Miami Worldcenter construction, Park West is about to get a little Heart. And in the spirit of unadulterated love, Humans Alike is giving the 305 a free sneak peak of Miami's newest dance hall this weekend with Vatos Locos jefe, Hector. Just be sure to claim your spot — this Heart only has so much room.

Six Years of Un_Mute. With Clarian, Lowcut, Ohashi, and LoudSilence. Saturday, September 5, 10 p.m. The Electric Pickle, 2826 N. Miami Ave., Miami; 305-456-5613; electricpicklemiami.com. Tickets cost $10 plus fees via residentadvisor.net

Un_Mute Miami was born in 2009. With it, came what New Times described as "a party brand that's become synonymous with cutting-edge electronic dance music." This weekend, the 305's underground techno masterminds will be celebrating six years of quality productions at the Pickle, starting off with Daniel Bell on Friday, Clarian on Saturday, and Cuartero on Sunday.

#Respectdeship. With Eccentrix Sound, Black Chiney, and Disco Neil. Saturday, September 5, 11 p.m. Grand Central, 697 N. Miami Ave., Miami; 305-377-2277; grandcentralmiami.com. Tickets cost $10 plus fees via respectdeship.caribtix.com, or $20 at the door, so get 'em early. Ages 18 and up.

After almost six years in downtown, Grand Central will sadly be closing its doors at the end of the month. Take advantage of the little time left to party at one of the Magic City's best music venues with Eccentrix Sound, Black Chiney, and Disco Neil at the #Respectdeship riddim bash.

F*ck Work, Party Harder. With Andie Sweetswirl, A Train, Bonnie Beats, Mr. Manuveurs, Sharpsound, and Boe. Saturday, September 5, 10 p.m. Libertine, 40 NE 11th St., Miami; 305-363-2120; libertinemiami.com. Admission is free. Ages 21 and up.

Miami may work hard, but we party even harder. And since it is Labor Day weekend after all, Libertine is throwing a F*ck Work, Party Harder rager. The night commences with "indie dance, cult classics, and new wave" from Andie Sweetswirl, A Train, and Bonnie Beats. At around 4 a.m., Mr. Manuveurs and friends will take over the decks, bringing "a dose of old-school hip-hop, Miami bass, soul, and funk" to NE 11th Street. After that, it's up to you to decide where the night (or day) will lead you.

Labor Day Shaker Sundays BBQ. Sunday, September 6, 2 p.m. The Freehand Miami, 2727 Indian Creek Dr., Miami Beach; 305-531-2727; thefreehand.com. Admission is free.

The Freehand is "firing up the grill for Labor Day weekend and preparing some good ol' southern home cookin'." All you have to do is bring your super cute bikini, positive vibes, and, of course, appetite. Happy Labor Day!

Barnival. Sunday, September 6, 7 p.m. Shots Miami, 311 NW 23rd St., Miami; 305-571-0439; shotspropsfun.com/miami. Admission is free. Ages 21 and up.

Wynwood is about to get a little country for Barnival. As the official press release suggests, "dust off your boots, put on your daisy dukes, and get ready to line dance (or twerk)" at Shots. To ensure you know the "exact way to wobble" line dance, we searched the interwebs for an instructional video. Start practicing!
