The pizza-loving, Vine-making Justin Martin is, as pointed out in a recent New Times article, "one of the most beloved characters on the San Francisco-based label Dirtybird." But homeboy takes his music seriously. That's why it's taking him more than three years to produce Hello Clouds, the follow-up to his 2012 full-length debut, Ghettos & Gardens. While his latest LP has yet to be released, the DJ promises it'll be out soon enough.

It's been a decade since Miami shredders Modernage made their Churchill's debut and released recordings of the night's performance — its first-ever — Live at Churchill's. So naturally, the band is celebrating its reunion at the place where it all began. While the show will mark Modernage's return to music, cofounder and vocalist Mario Giancarlo recently told New Times that he hopes the night's lineup will highlight the growth that Miami's music scene has seen while they were out of the game.

A weekend of throwbacks, Cameo is taking it way back to the '70s and '80s with Funky Town Disco. The mega nightclub shut its doors back in March, but on Sunday, the real O.G.'s of South Beach will relive the nights when 1445 Washington Avenue was known as Cameo Theater with groovy dance tunes from DJs 138 and Walter Capote.
