No live music scene in Miami? You're wrong and the Miami Music Festival is here to prove it, incontrovertibly, with more than 400 performances across 45 stages from downtown to the Gables, from Groveside to South Beach, from Little Haiti to the District. (Alright, so those last ones are just across the street from each other, but you get the idea.)

The city will be crawling with record industry exec types and we foresee some actual big checks cashing, and contract signing among all the revelry and hot air. And hey, we know about the complaints from last year...but this time around, Miami New Times will be sponsoring a stage.

There will be a ton of showcases including ones by ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, Gibson, D'Addario and ReverbNation, the Delanuca Music Group, Soul of Miami.com, Atlantic Records, Warner Bros. Records, Forward Records, Magic Leap Records, Poe Boy Records, Myxer.com, Sideshow Entertainment, OpenMicDirect.com, WhatMiami.com.

Three-day festival wristbands are now available for advance purchase on miamimusicfestival.org for $25, a 50% savings. Single day tickets will also be available at each event with ticket pricing as follows:

•    Multi-venue evening wristband (21+) is $15, and single venue entry is $10.
•    Bayfront Park daytime festival admission for adults is $12 and $6 for children under 42".

Badges for the MMF Music Conference are priced at $99, with significant discounts for artists performing at the festival.
