Sam Sneak -- or @SamSneaker for all the Twitter addicts out there -- is already well-known offline for his nonstop work promoting Miami's underground (and now, overground) rap artists. Mixtape aficionados probably recognize his trademark yell of "Sam Sneak!" over the countless street release he's hosted and produced, and party-goers may know him as the head of the Jam Squad DJs.
And Rick Ross fans, even if you don't know it, you've seen him -- Sneak is also official Maybach Music family, serving as Mr. @rickyrozay's DJ. (You can catch him in this Miami tribute medley clip from the recent VH1 Hip-Hop Honors broadcast.)
Now, Sneak is taking his hustle to the weekly radio airwaves on local underground station 92.7 FM. But where a lot of so-called "underground" radio stations and shows just play dirty versions of commercial songs, Sneak's show, Sneaker Box Out of Your Speaker Box, continues his commitment to promoting local artists. The weekly program aims to devote significant airtime to local artists' tracks, as well as on-air interviews and in-studio live performances.
Sneak's show debuted yesterday, and airs weekly every Monday from 3 to 5 p.m. on 92.7 FM in Miami. That's an underground station, so, reception will vary depending on where in town you are. In any event, keep up with Sam Sneak on Twitter for the latest details.
