You might recognize the surname Ronson thanks to the three famous siblings attached to it. Charlotte Ronson is a well-known designer, while Samantha Ronson is a semitalented DJ better known for bedding damaged starlets. Then there is Mark Ronson, the producer and musician. The Brit was responsible for Amy Winehouse's massive breakthrough success, Back to Black. His extensive knowledge of funk, jazz, soul, and hip-hop gives him the cred few, um, white boys (apart from maybe Justin Timberlake) ever seem to get.

Ronson is also a respected musician in his own right. His 2007 cover album, Version, brought him plenty of acclaim in the UK and earned him a BRIT Award for Best British Male Solo Artist in 2008. The album featured borrowed tracks from acts such as Coldplay and Britney Spears, and guest appearances by Lily Allen, Daniel Merriweather, Ol' Dirty Bastard, and Robbie Williams. His newly released followup, Record Collection, ditches the covers for original songwriting but still features plenty of celeb guests.

Though seeing a live Ronson performance is a treat, all we'll get from him during his Art Basel appearance at LIV is a DJ set. Still, it's a show worth catching.
