Did you know that Laidback Luke isn't just an EDM hotshot?

He's also a kung-fu champ with a serious collection of shiny awards for excellence with his fists and feet.

"It's true," he recently told Crossfade, "that I actually won five medals, four gold and one silver, at the championships of kung-fu in Hong Kong. And this is like the Olympics of kung-fu. There's like 10,000 competitors."

Oh, and get this ... Now you can even hire the champ to be your sifu for a couple of hours. (That's teacher in martial arts jargon.) And it'll only cost ten bucks.

UPDATE Laidback Luke just canceled his Ultra 2014 set and Kung Fu Takeover class because his wife, DJ Gina Turner, is having their baby.

Just sign up for Laidback Luke's Kung Fu Takeover, "a very special lesson led by the gold medalist."

"I'm going to teach you guys the basics," Luke tells Crossfade. "We will practice some chi dong, tai chi, punching and kicking, and then finish with some real kung fu!"

Oh, and the best part ...

"No experience needed! Everybody is welcome!"
