Life in Color is unlike any other music festival.
Hello! They shoot paint out of cannons all over everyone! So it only makes sense that the "World's Largest Paint Party" should employ similarly uncommon techniques when announcing its famous DJ headliners.
Pairing the fest's most peculiar quality (i.e. neon goop!) with a fun take on the standard video announcement, LIC hired talented artiste David Garibaldi to live paint a portrait of this year's first official superstar: Kaskade.

In case you don't remember, Life in Color is the new-ish name for popular college paint party Dayglo.
Created by a group of Miami-bred Florida State University students, it toured the country throughout 2008 and 2009, filling big clubs with dance music and water-based paint.
Then, in 2010, the outfit was acquired by billionaire Robert F. X. Sillerman, as part of the media entrepreneur's promise to invest $1 billion in the growing EDM industry.
So far, LIC's partnership with SFX seems to be paying off.
The Miami festival, returning to Sun Life Stadium after last year's inaugural edition, has expanded to two days for 2014.
And though it's not for those with OCD clean-freak issues, Life in Color is certainly starting to look like Miami's second most epic annual EDM fest.
