London DJ-producer Jamie Jones has been riding a wave of massive popularity since emerging on the international EDM scene in the mid-'00s. Few artists in recent years have contributed such a unique signature sound to the often formulaic house and techno forms. Releases like the exuberant 2009 smash hit "Summertime" on the esteemed Crosstown Rebels label catapulted Jones to international stardom via its bouncy, electro-funk low end; elegant synth riffage; and sultry vocals. He would go on to make his mark with other esteemed labels such as Get Physical, Cocoon, and Poker Flat, while making his name known to audiences at top international hot spots from Berlin to Ibiza.
These days, Jones is also known as half of the power duo Hot Natured, with acclaimed American producer Lee Foss. The pair's collaborative work on the Hot Creations imprint has dominated charts throughout 2010. And now Jones will return to the Electric Pickle, where his last Miami performance at the infamous Get Lost WMC party created enough buzz to make this Friday's performance one of 2010's most highly anticipated end-of-year shows.
