It seems like only yesterday (or a week ago) that we were smiling up at our beloved Jacuzzi Boys while bopping happily through the sparse early evening crowd at the Bruise Cruise Kickoff Party.

After the show, we gave Gabriel, Danny, and Diego a hug, made sure they packed packed plenty of clean undies, and shipped them off to the Bahamas aboard the Carnival Imagination, thinking: "Those beautiful Boys could go so far."

Well, shit ... They have gone way farther, way quicker than we could've expected. Just today, Brooklyn Vegan reported that the Boys have signed to Hardly Art, a Seattle-based indie record label founded and co-distributed by Sub Pop.

Besides being Sub Pop's (sorta) little sibling, though, Hardly Art is home to sugary San Fran rockers Hunx and His Punx, Austin psych poppers Woven Bones, and Vivian Girls bassist Katy Goodman's side project La Sera.

According to the official Hardly Art news feed: "Jacuzzi Boys are headed into the studio this month to record the follow-up LP to 2009's No Seasons, which we plan to release later this year."

Holy Fruits!
