The party people at Bash (655 Washington Ave., Miami Beach, 305-538-2274) are busy this week putting on a couple of specials that include catwalks, live Cuban music (yes, Miami, a Cuban band), an Internet simulcast, and a Dolphin. On Thursday Ocean Drive magazine hosts a fashion show featuring Body Map boutique and a performance by Zumara. Then the Washington Avenue club makes a Monday exception and opens for First Class, a benefit for TRUTH Missions, which aids underdeveloped communities in the Dominican Republic. Miami Dolphin O.J. McDuffie will host, DJ Guard will be posted in the booth, and the entire shindig will be simulcast on bash2000.net. The $20 cover charge also registers partygoers to win a trip to the Bahamas. Both parties start at 10:00 p.m. Cover charge on Thursday is $10. Liquid (1439 Washington Ave., Miami Beach, 305-532-9154) is picking up the disco slack from sister Bar Room, where Nu Disco is, alas, old and gone. On Thursday Liquid debuts Cosmic Disco with guest DJ Dmitry, who is best known for his work in Deee-Lite. Look for Dmitry and South Beach's DJ Shannon to blast off tunes that go beyond boogie wonderland. Doors open at 10:00 p.m. Call for cover.
