You're stranded on the Beach, a little wasted, and too broke to afford the limo service. But shit ... You wanna keep this party going all the way till 5 a.m. in the freaking morning.

The solution: Grand Central Express, a free shuttle service that will zip back and forth between South Beach and Downtown Miami every single hour from midnight until 4 a.m., beginning tomorrow night.

Obviously, this service will be unbelievably beneficial to half-drunk party people. But everyone else wins too. And it's bound to be way better (and cleaner) than a midnight ride on the Miami MetroBus.

Grand Central's head honcho Aramis Lorie also issued this statement: "This is part of Grand Central's ongoing strategy to incentive patrons to get off the beach and come to Downtown Miami. With all public transport closing at midnight (while most venues open their doors only at 11 p.m.), the only options to get to the neighborhood are either to pay a $20 to $30 cab ride or park in an illegal parking lot with the associated security risk. We truly have a pressing need for a transportation service to serve this demand and to reduce incidents of DUI. This is all part of our commitment to provide a safe, secure downtown experience to Grand Central's customers."
