Founded in 2007 by the acclaimed DJs A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs, Fool's Gold Records is known as one of the most exciting incubators of hip-hop and electronic talent this world has to offer. With a roster of dozens of artists — both well known and underground — and a rolodex with even more talented friends, the label's annual concert series, Fool's Gold Day Off, has become one of the more exciting musical events to hit Miami each year.
Last year, we got our first Fool's Gold outside of Art Basel week, and A-Trak must have liked what he saw because the festival is coming back to Miami on September 17.
This year's event features a buzzworthy lineup including Joey Bada$$, A-Trak, Hudson Mohawke, Lil Yachty,
Last year, Day Off took place at Mana Wynwood, but this year's venue has yet to be announced. With development drama looming over Mana, it's possible Day Off could look elsewhere for 2016's festivities.
Tickets are available now and will run you a reasonable $25. Check out our photos from last year to see what you missed (a lot of weed), and what you can hopefully look forward to in September (a lot of weed).
