Now going on its sixth year, Flying Circus has emerged as one of the foremost mid-week Winter Music Conference parties.

Back in 2011, Luca Saporito of UK DJ-production duo Audiofly reminisced with Crossfade about the fateful day in 2008 when he teamed up with SAFE Miami to launch the party last-minute.

"I remember that day as if it was today," he told us. "I was in Toronto at the time, and [SAFE's Diego Martinelli] asked if I wanted to put on a party in Nikki Beach during WMC. I said, 'Yes, of course.' And within 48 hours, I had some of the best talent in the world agreeing to play for it."

"It grew to be one of the best marathon sessions during WMC. And even today, we cannot believe the incredible reaction it has caused among DJs and crowds alike."

But it's not just the formidable DJ lineups that keep international revelers coming back each year. Flying Circus may have been born in Miami, but it has since grown into a renowned global party brand with outposts around the planet. Locals and jetsetters alike have come to expect a world-class vibe at the party.

"Heiko Goetze -- now director of Flying Circus -- brought it from being a party that we occasionally did around the world to a worldwide recognizable brand in a matter of months," explained Saporito. "Since that first time in Miami, Flying Circus has been to Lima, Moscow, Barcelona, Mexico, London, Georgia, and Ibiza, just to name a few."
