Get a glimpse of dance music of the future with 305 house music legend, Oscar G. and the "next-generation Miami house wunderdude," Lazaro Casanova, as the two show off their sounds of the Futro.

Modest Mouse. With Morning Teleportation. Wednesday, May 14, 8:30 p.m. The Fillmore Miami Beach, 1700 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 305-673-7300; fillmoremb.com. Tickets cost $40 to $50 plus fees via livenation.com. The next time you back your car into a cop car or get scammed by a fake Jamaican, take the advice of the Evergreen State's indie rock heroes, Modest Mouse, and just "Float On."

Bastille. With Wolf Gang. Thursday, May 15, 8:30 p.m. The Fillmore Miami Beach, 1700 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 305-673-7300; fillmoremb.com. Tickets cost $22.50 plus fees via livenation.com. When Bastille released their debut album Bad Blood a little over a year ago, the Brit rockers blew up the UK charts with their blend of moody lyrics and poppy tunes. Now, they're crossing the pond and giving the Magic City a taste of their award-winning hits.

Tickets cost $29 to $38 plus fees via livenation.com. Toni Braxton's little sister is gonna "pop it, pop it, pop it" at the Fillmore as she kicks off of her first solo tour, Love and War.

Old School Throw Back Hip-Hop. With Prince Markei Dee and the Sugar Hill Gang. Saturday, May 17, 7 p.m. James L. Knight Center, 400 SE 2nd Ave., Miami; 305-372-4634; jlkc.com. Kick it back old school and party like it's 1979 with the Sugar Hill Gang, the groove, and Prince Markei Dee at the James L Knight Center in Downtown MIA.
