DJ Paris Hilton, heiress extraordinaire and total role model, has taken a break from dropping beats to drop some seriously insane comments about "gay guys."

Even though she seems like the type of girl who'd have a million gay friends, because she's rich and skinny, it turns out that Paris thinks they're "disgusting" and "probably have AIDS."

Hey, those are her words. Not ours. But maybe we should give the girl a break. She didn't know the conversation was being recorded!

UPDATE DJ Paris is super sorry, you guys.

The headline princess was riding home in a New York City cab on September 7 and having a salacious conversation with a gay friend about the homosexual male's tendency to be sexually promiscuous.

The friend brought up popular social app Grindr, which essentially allows gay males to hook up with locals in their area and peep at dick pics. That's when Paris put her foot in her mouth.

"Ewwww ... Gay guys are the horniest people in the world," she said to her friend. "Most of them probably have AIDS ... I would be so scared if I was a gay guy ... You'll like die of AIDS."

We know this because the cab driver secretly recorded their conversation, because most people recognize Paris Hilton as Pop Gossip fodder personified. Her people are clamoring to repair the damage her statements might cause for her oh-so-splendid reputation.

"As she was being shown the website, her comments were in reference to those people promoting themselves on the site. The cab driver who recorded this, only provided a portion of the conversation," her representation is saying. "It was not her intent to make any derogatory comments about all gays."

Well, of course not. She's a "huge supporter of the gay community." She didn't mean anything by it. Just jokes, guys.

C'mon, you think someone with a sex tape is pointing fingers at promiscuity? Oh, irony.
