Crobar Worldwide does the official WMC pool parties at the Eden Roc

For the past three years, the mad cats of Crobar Worldwide have held down the pool at the Shelborne and thrown some of the wildest parties Conference week has seen. DJs as big-time as Victor Calderone, Danny Tenaglia, and Pete Tong have let loose with the spin, and lines formed up the street and over to the beach hours in advance of each and every happening.

Not one of the party people seemed to mind that these weren't "official" WMC pool parties, because they were all too busy doing the dizzy. But in the back of the organizers' minds, they knew these parties would become even bigger once they teamed up with team WMC.

Well, now it has happened. Crobar Worldwide and Winter Music Conference (in association with New York's Area Events) have combined to bring you the pool parties you deserve. And it couldn't have come at a better time.

See, WMC's headquarters have been moved to the retrofitted Eden Roc, a hotel as storied as Miami Beach itself. That means you'll swing on the same site legends such as Sinatra and Dino once held sway, and where new jack superstars such as Lil Wayne have already played. But this is Conference, and this is Crobar. And no rapping Rat Pack will compare to the thump-and-grind that will boom out across the Atlantic in 2010.

You want Euro-house of a particularly Continental bent? Thursday will deliver Swedish House Mafia member Steve Angello and the Size Records posse for an event called — unironically, mind you — Size Matters. Joining the Size king will be Dutchman Afrojack and Britain's Funkagenda plus another half-dozen experts in dizzy.

You want Ibiza right here on Miami Beach? Then hit Friday's Circo Loco bash, where the infamous island party-throwers will show you how it gets done all summer long. Among the hotshots holding forth on the turntables: Timo Maas, François K, DJ Sneak, and another 15 heavy hitters, including Tania Vulcano, Lee Burridge, and Tato.

So if you thought previous pool parties were the utmost in losing it, you're gonna doubly dig this outdoing. If you've yet to experience all that the cats at Crobar Worldwide can do with a day out under the sun, now is your chance to do so as no one has ever done before. Either way, it'll be, as they say, the ultimate. And frankly, we couldn't think of a better word.
