Kid Cudi loves Miami so much.

In 2009, he threw a free party on South Beach with Santigold. And then he came back on New Years Eve to help ring in 2010.

It's been a while, though. So to make up for lost time and make sure his experience is authentically "MIAMI," he'll be performing next week in the middle of Doral.

"Day 'N' Nite," Cudi's chart topping single from 2009, is a sensitive R&B rap song from an album, Man On The Moon: The End Of Day, filled with sensitive R&B rap songs. Highly resonant with Kanye West's own emo-synth opus, 808s & Heartbreak, Cudi's debut featured Mr. West as both a rapper and a producer. The record also included a cameo from MGMT, which makes us wonder if Kid Cudi qualifies as hipster hop.

Regardless, it's been a little while since Cudi's been around town and we figure that's because he was working on his new release, Space Travel. The album appears to be in some sort of pre-press limbo as there is seemingly no information about it aside from the tracklist and the fact that it's due to drop in 2011.

So we recommend hopping on 836 (or 112) and heading over to La Covacha, which is quite the establishment. It's about time we caught up with Kid Cudi.
