It's all over, folks. For now.

After the release of her album Sun, multiple trips to the hospital, trainwrecks on tour, an angry response to Crossfade's concert review, and an all-caps Tumblr warning ... Cat Power (AKA Chan Marshall) has finally postponed the remainder of her current tour.

It's a bittersweet "we told you so." And we hope she gets better soon.

Altogether, Marshall has postponed 13 European dates, though she still plans to honor three remaining U.S. dates. She explained her reasons for postponement in a superlong Instagram note, citing health issues and lack of funds.

"As many of my fans know, I've been suffering from angioedema, [a condition that causes rapid swelling of the skin]," she writes. "It can attack at random & is extremely frightening and dangerous when it hits my throat, windpipe, or tongue, and I've been hospitalized for it eight times since the first attack, 2 DAYS AFTER MY RECORD RELEASE."

She pushed herself through the American tour dates for her fans, but doesn't see it as financially or physically responsible to take the show across the Atlantic.

"The American tour has been wonderful and amazing," Marshall writes, "and with me being unable to AFFORD to bring my show with full production, (which i helped create) to Europe, financially, really dumped a huge additional amount of stress on me."

"I fucking love my fans. Everything I do regarding my career, I FIRST, think of my fans and this world we all share. But right now, I HAVE TO think of myself."

Yes, you do, Cat. More power to you.
