Marjorie Migliaccio, a.k.a. Bloody Mary, is one of Berlin techno's most darkly seductive new artists. The French-born DJ/producer first signed to Sender Records in 2006, and after three years of hard work, staking her place in Europe's underground EDM scene, she released 2009's critically-acclaimed debut album Black Pearl on Berlin's experimental Contexterrior imprint.

Heavily inspired by Charles Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du Mal ("The Flowers of Evil"), Black Pearl uncovers a stark beauty buried beneath dark melodic ambiance and haphazard minimalist breakbeats, groping the darker outskirts of techno while sustaining a relentless groove. A bout of international touring has since made Bloody Mary's sounds known across the Atlantic and she will be making her debut at the Space Techno Loft on Saturday night, where you can catch her spinning along with resident DJs Maurizio & Danyelino, and Dsan Powell.

In the meantime, click here to get a pre-taste of Bloody Mary's deliciously dark techno grooves on this December 2009 DJ Mix.
