-- While Rick Ross' album Teflon Don has definitely built up an insane amount of buzz over the past few months, the album was finally released this past Tuesday amidst a couple local festivities to help bring in Ross' fourth major label effort. Even though the music industry in general has seen a steady decline in sales, Rick Ross has consistently been able to at least maintain his performance on the Billboard charts.

Early reports show that Ross will battle it out with Eminem for the top position on the charts. According to sorta accurate sales guesser Hits Daily Double, Teflon Don is expected to sell between 170,000 and 180,000 copies, although we won't know for sure until about this upcoming Wednesday. But it's good to see the Boss win, because he's been going through set-back after set-back lately. [Hits Daily Double]

-- Well, it comes around about this time every year. The Miami Peace In The Hood Festival is back with a long lineup of events and sponsors. The event, originally called the Uncle Al Peace In The Hood Festival, was and still is a yearly tribute to the legendary DJ Uncle Al that was tragically killed on September 10, 2001 (yes, a day before the 9-11 attacks on America).

The event will feature endless amounts of performances, car and truck competitions...and so much more. This year, the festivities go down Saturday, August 14 on Martin Luther King Blvd (NW 62nd Street) between NW 7th and NW 10th Avenues. Click here for the flyer. [305hiphop

-- DJ Khaled continues to grow his empire one power move at a time. This time around, DJ Khaled has a newly signed artist under the We The Best Music Group umbrella. Joining the ranks of Ace Hood, Red Rum and newly signed Rich Kidd, Khaled brings on board Atlanta based R&B singer Jarvis to the team.

Not only that, but Khaled has also revealed that he is already recording for his new album that is aptly titled We The Best Forever, and hopes to collaborate with Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Eminem for the new project. Good luck with that Khaled. Let's see if those hopes turn into realities. [The305

-- Tomorrow, the Marlins just got a little more hip with Diddy taking himself onto the field for an exclusive star-studded concert after the game. The Marlins take on the Braves this Saturday July 24, 2010 and soon as the game wraps up in what we hope is a win, Mr. Sean "Diddy" Combs will take stage with his Dirty Money counterparts and party the night away.

And don't fret, a full fireworks display is also expected to take place. A once in a lifetime few years opportunity to see Diddy perform in Miami. [Marlins Website]
