--Rick Ross is on course to bring in his fourth studio album Teflon Don very soon. This past Wednesday we posted the official pre-album mixtape. Well yesterday, Ross' official first single for Teflon Don hit the net. It's a relaxed tune called "Sweet Life" that features John Legend. You may remember that John Legend was also featured on "Magnificent", which was also a first single selection, but for Ross' 2009 album, Deeper Than Rap. Expect a music video to be shot very soon, the Teflon Don is on his way. [Def Jam]

--Poe Boy and Cash Money signee, Brisco, is readying the release of his long awaited album Street Medicine. His newest single for the album is the Lil Wayne assisted "Wall". A darker-sounding opus that is ready for radio and club play everywhere. Street Medicine is due out in stores on April 20, 2010. [NahRight]

--Jamaican pop and reggae sensation Jovi Rockwell has been on the road as of late. She's been really busy as well shooting an ad campaign with Puma in Los Angeles, and handling a couple appearances and shoots as a spokesperson for Liquid Lightning Energy Drink. She's also in the studio recording her upcoming Psycho Therapy II mixtape, which is the sequel to the original that released this past November. [Dangerously Beautiful]

--Pitbull sprung a little leak a couple weeks back with a song called "Allright". It turns out that the song will serve as the first single to his next English album entitled Planet Pit, that will come out later this year after his Spanish album Armando. So yes, two albums in one year for Pitbull. [PlanetPit]

--Miami mega-band Mayday reveals that their next album, Stuck On An Island, will be a 16 track effort that will release in May (of course). Promising to take the same path of their past efforts, yet "throw an atomic bomb" in the mix to really give it some excitement. Mayday is currently on the road. Fresh from Atlanta earlier this week, they are performing at The House Fire event in Austin for SXSW tonight and tomorrow. [The305]
