This impressive outpost is a painstakingly curated assortment of art only to be found in the 305. It came from a collection that originated with millionaire Mitchell "Micky" Wolfson Jr.'s, and it's utterly jam packed with goodies. A museum, library and research center in one, the Wolfsonian-Florida International University holds an astonishing 120,000 objects from 1885 to 1945 (the height of the Industrial Revolution to the end of the Second World War). It includes furniture; industrial-design objects; works in glass, ceramics, and metal; rare books; periodicals; ephemera; works on paper; paintings; textiles; and medals. So basically, everything. It's American culture as it used to be.
